Mrs. Aurela Gautreau, 82, of Pré-d'en-Haut died Monday at Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton following a lengthy illness.

Born in St. Anselme, she was a daughter of the late Antoine and Mélina (Gautreau) Boudreau. Her husband, Edgar Gautreau, died in 1961.

She is survived by two daugters, Mrs. Norbert Poirier (Jeannette) of St. Joseph and Mrs. Ludger LeBlanc (Mélina) of Dover; five sons, Antoine of St. Joseph, Gérald of St. Anselme, Allain of Dalhousie, Henri and Gilles, both of Pré-d'en-Haut; one brother Alyre, of Pré-d'en-Haut; a sister Béatrice, of Pré-d'en-Haut; a step-brother, Antoine of Pittsfield, Mass.; a step-sister, Mrs. George Allegrond (Irène) of Pittsfield, Mass.; 23 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

The body is at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook. Funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday at 7 p.m. at Our Lady of Annonciation Roman Catholic Church, Pré-d'en-Haut. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
